Mr. Fares Kobeissi is the Chairman and CEO of Bluering s.a.l., a leading software company in Lebanon specialized in Credit Automation to the financial sector. He is on his third entrepreneurial venture and received several regional and international awards in software products excellence.

Mr. Kobeissi is a founder and President of the Association of Lebanese Software Industry (ALSI), board member of the LAU Computer Science Advisory Council, board member of Lebanon Softshore Cluster, board member of MEPI Alumni Lebanon Chapter and board member of Akhaa Ahli Aley Football Club. Mr. Kobeissi was directly involved in many private/public sector initiatives related to ICT in Lebanon such as the drafting of the National E-Strategy, drafting of the law for recruitment of IT employees in the government, reviewing e-signature law, reviewing public procurement policies and procedures, reviewing WTO agreements, reviewing IDAL’s law 360 and many others. He was also part of several official delegations such as World Summit for Information Society (WSIS), MENA ICT Conference, Techleb 06 at MIT and late Prime Minister Rafic Hariri official visit to Ireland.
