It offers descriptions of the major challenges that countries in the region would face in adopting and implementing cyber legislation and concludes with some recommendations on how to move forward. ESCWA Cyber Legislation Digest (En) The cyber legislation digest brings together, in one document, all the activities that ESCWA undertook since 2007 with regard to cyber legislation under the Harmonization Project. The Digest offers a set of recommendations for continuing the efforts to improve cyber legislation in the Arab region and concludes with a summary of the processes and methodologies ESCWA used to develop and implement the cyber legislation initiative as possible examples of good practices. Comparative tables on Cyber Legislation in the Region The comparative tables summarizes the availability of cyber legislation at national level in the region as of December 2012. Providing details on laws and other legislation, makes it possible for readers to easily find and compare the specificities of laws among countries.
